Everyone is invited to come and see how volunteers and technology have combined to empower students around the world. This is rare opportunity for hands on play with these unique computers and to hear about the new Foundation making them available in Australia.
At 5.00pm Pia Waugh will speak about her ongoing involvement with One Laptop Per Child educational projects and her work with the Free and Open Source Software community. This is a unique opportunity to hear about the little laptop creating an education revolution around the world. You may even decide to join OLPC Friends.

06 August 2008 |
|
We are pleased to inform member organisations that they can now recycle equipment at no cost simply by being selective in their choice of vendors. Dell Australia now offer free recycling of equipment being replaced when purchasing new equipment. See the Dell Recycling web site for more information.
The news gets even better now that CASE members can obtain further discounts from Dell by forwarding orders through our account manager. Contact us directly if you would like more information regarding this. It's just another example of how we all benefit from working together. |
